House Gaming Committee: The Select Committee on Seminole Indian Compact meets Thursday for the first time since it shot down Gov. Charlie Crist’s proposal a few months ago.  According to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, gambling executives from Las Vegas are making a pitch for billion-dollar casinos in the Sunshine State.
